Annie provides full-scale floral design for events and environments ranging from business and residential settings, to weddings and special events. Interior Design

Ornate - Interior combines classic and warm comfort design elements with chic modern accents. Annie's interior style can be described as eclectic sophistication with contemporary elegance. Each space and environment is created to inspire the senses and enlivin your spirit.

The main goal for each project is to reflect a desire to improve the human experience through the built environment. Incorporating the right color palette, coordinating fixtures and finishes, reupholstering furniture, adding artistic elements of interest all play a part in developing an environment that defines us. Annie helps you visualize your space through computerized plans and documentation, and detailed concept boards. She coordinates colors, stages furniture, and helps you transform an existing space.

About

Annie Jacobsen, owner and lead designer of Ornate by Annie, brings love and innovation to the art of interior design and floral design. Annie is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara where she earned her B.A degree in Art History and Architecture. She then attended Parsons School of Design in New York City to pursue her passion in architectural interior design and was mentored and taught by some of the best designers in the country.

Annie continued to pursue design in Santa Barbara, and worked in commercial architecture, high end residential architecture and architectural lighting design. While in Santa Barbara, Annie collaborated with local floral designers on various floral arrangements for weddings and weekly client accounts including the Harbor View Inn, Bacara Resort, and the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel.

Annie incorporates her eclectic background and design knowledge to create original designs for her clients. Inspired by art mediums such as sculpture, painting, and expressive art, Annie approaches each project with creativity, and imagination. Because of her diverse background in art, architecture, interior design and floral design, Annie is able to translate each individual clients vision and style.
